Meet Dr. Pearson

Eye care professionals specialize in understanding how the human eye really works, as well as diseases and conditions that affect your vision – many of which do not have obvious symptoms. Eye doctors know how age and risk factors affect vision over time for young and old, and they understand the benefits and features of corrective lenses including eyeglasses and contacts.

This website is primarily designed to aid shooting sport competitors. Dr. Pearson has been a shooting sport competitor for over 20 years.

Dr. Kerry Pearson, the optometrist

Dr. Kerry Pearson is a 1985 graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR. Dr. Pearson established Akers Pearson Eye Care in 1987. Pearson Eyecare Group has grown to a four location practice in the Phoenix, Arizona metro area. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, Arizona Optometric Association, the AOA Sports Vision section and is the team optometrist for Grand Canyon athletics.  Dr. Pearson is a multi-term member and past co-chair of the Lenscrafters Optometric Advisory Council.  He has published and lectures nationally on vision and contact lens related topics. He has 2 adult children: a son who graduated from Arizona State University and a daughter who graduated from Grand Canyon University. Dr. Pearson, his wife, Lisa, and their children list being a foster family as one of their most rewarding experiences. .
